The Joy Hub
We started the Joy Hub to help make sure young people can gain access to non-judgmental, non-discriminatory emotional and mental health first aid and advice when dealing with depression, trauma, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.
We are raising ₦15 million (about $42,000) to run the pilot hub in Surulere, Lagos, create a toll-free helpline for low-income young people to access help as well as open a second hub in Port Harcourt, Rivers State before the end of 2019.
Our vision is to build a hub within walking distance of every young person across West Africa from now to 2035 — to ensure immediate and sustained access to help and support.
